Gabriel Oliver

Founder & Chief Architect · Cloud-Native Platforms

Professional Summary

Founder and architect of Nubo, a multi-tenant cloud-native PaaS — from the container build/runtime pipeline and edge tier to AI agent orchestration and the physical datacenter networking beneath it. Builds resilient distributed systems with microservices, event-driven patterns, and well-modeled APIs across Rust, TypeScript, and Python, and translates trade-offs into clear architecture decisions.

Experience

Founder & Chief Architect · Nubo, Inc.

2024 — Present

Connecticut

  • Built Nubo, a cloud-native, multi-tenant deployment platform (PaaS) — push-to-deploy from GitHub to a live URL on Nubo's cloud or self-hosted agents, with a container build/runtime pipeline, automatic TLS, real-time logs, and one-click rollback.
  • Designed and built Studio, an AI-powered app builder that turns natural-language prompts into deployed web apps via LLM orchestration — a project-manager agent coordinating specialist build agents that write, run, and ship code through agentic workflows.
  • Built a request-analytics edge pipeline ingesting 1M+ HTTP request events into ClickHouse with daily rollups — 1.03M+ requests served (~47K/day) across 115 apps to 4,900+ unique visitors in 75 countries at p99 < 60ms.
  • Engineered the "shuttle" deployment pipeline orchestrating 390+ multi-region container deployments (push, preview, and manual triggers) with build logs and rollback.
  • Architected and racked the physical datacenter networking — Cisco routing and switching with VLAN segmentation — for the self-hosted compute running customer deployments, bridging cloud-native software with on-prem infrastructure.
  • Operated the multi-tenant platform for 20+ users across 27 teams and 32 memberships, spanning 52 projects with persistent volumes and a 380+ event audit trail.

tesoro github.com/itsgabrieloliver/tesoro

A terminal-based Markdown notes app built in Rust — a local-first CLI for capturing and organizing notes, with thoughtful command design and systems-level performance.

Nubo Platform withnubo.com

Cloud-or-self-host developer deployment platform: push-to-deploy from GitHub to a live URL on Nubo's cloud or on customers' own hardware via distributed agents, an isolated container build/runtime, automatic TLS, and real-time logs, rollbacks, and metrics.

httpserver github.com/itsgabrieloliver/httpserver

A multithreaded HTTP server built in Rust — systems-level networking and a thread-pooled concurrency model handling parallel connections.
